- Vaughn Roberts' God's Big Picture: Tracing the Storyline of the Bible is available both as a book and as a free online Bible study. It covers the grand narrative of the Bible in a clear, concise, and systematic way.
- The Jesus Storybook Bible by Sally Lloyd-Jones is a great resource for familiarizing yourself with the way all of scripture points to Jesus. It is intended for children, but I find that valuable because it focuses on the basics in clear, easy-to-understand ways.
